Working Together to Save Taxpayers Money
The Technology Marketplace is a new one-stop-shop to make it easier for public entities to purchase technology goods and services. It is consistent with our ongoing mission to help schools and local governments save money on all the things they need to buy.
The Educational Services Commission of New Jersey (ESCNJ) Cooperative System, founded in the 1990s, is the largest cooperative-pricing system in the Garden State. Its more than 1,300 members include school districts, colleges, universities, municipalities, county governments, housing authorities, libraries, fire districts and more. ESCNJ’s overarching goal: to save taxpayers money by securing great prices for its members.
Bid specifications are developed according to the requests members pass on, saving time and money—a streamlined process that avoids the time and expense of developing bid specifications, advertising and research.
There is no fee to join, and participants automatically become lifetime members with no need to renew.
The state’s largest Educational Services Commission, ESCNJ also operates seven schools for students ages 3 to 21 who have autism or multiple disabilities and exhibit at-risk behaviors. Two schools feature on-site clinical-support services.
